Mechanical Apprentice (4th to 5th Year) - Plumbing/Pipefitting and Welding

Maple Reinders Constructors Ltd. is seeking an Mechanical Apprentice with welding tickets and pipefitting experience for the Blommers project in Campbellford, Ontario. This is a great opportunity to work with one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and be part of a dynamic, industry-leading team!

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

We are looking for construction tradespersons who have experience with:

  • Registered Apprentice (4th to 5th year)
  • TSSA Tig Welding Certification
  • Hydrotesting
  • Preferable Telehandler ticket
  • Knowledge of Bolt Up, Fastening of Steel and Steel Members
  • Reading & interpreting interferences from all drawings
  • Experience with Process Piping & Equipment Install
  • Experience with compressed air piping and process hot/cold water piping systems.
  • Establishing control points with accuracy
  • Experience with PVC/HDPE and stainless-steel piping
  • Able to install various types of mechanical equipment and architectural hardware.
  • Able to transfer levels over large distances with accuracy.
  • Rigging and installing equipment
  • Mechanical bolt-up
  • Experience with industrial and/or commercial construction.
  • Knowledge of water treatment and/or wastewater treatment facility construction an asset
  • Valid Zoom Boom Ticket is considered an asset.
