Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Vaughan, ONType: Full-time, permanent Our client specializes in the pipeline inspection industry with offices located in Canada, the USA and the UK. This company provides pipeline inspection services to the pipeline industry by utilizing the latest generation of custom designed pipeline inspection tools and corresponding expert data analysis. Their pipeline operations experience facilitates their mission to change the way the industry thinks about ILI and the services that support it. Job Description: We have an immediate role for a Mechanical Engineer with excellent technical and communication skills to add to our experienced engineering team. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of machine design experience in designing custom, small to medium size machinery () using 3D software. However, candidates with less experience but strong background would also be welcome. Piping and HVAC engineers need not apply. This is a great position to learn and grow with the Engineering Team. The successful candidate will work with both the design and production departments to improve and enlarge the company's world class fleet of pipeline inspection tools.Job Requirements: - 4 - 7 years' of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, specialized in automation machine design - 3D CAD experience in designing custom, small to medium-sized machinery (ex. packaging machinery, conveyor systems, loading machines)- Strong and well-versed mechanical aptitude- Excellent technical and communication skills- Enjoys a challenging work environment - Experience with ILI tool design considered an asset- Piping and HVAC Engineers need not apply to this positionAcara Solutions is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for applicants and employees.
