Your Future Role on Our Team

As an Engineer, your role will be to contribute to proposals and perform engineering, make technological choices, and implement projects.

1. Lead and participate in conceptual design studies.


2. Lead and participate in preparing plans and specifications and perform detailed engineering based on guidelines for mandates involving heavy machinery, conveyors, pump systems, crushers, and metallurgical processes.


3. Make calculations.


4. Supervise or carry out design calculations and ensure that plans meet guidelines as well as legal and regulatory requirements.


5. Establish and maintain relationships with clients to define their needs.


6. Present technical information, concepts, or study results.


7. Verify and produce files for tenders, specifications, and other technical documents.


8. Assign and review the work of junior engineers (engineers-in-training), technicians, and drafters assigned to projects and assess technical scope.


9. Ensure that work complies with budgets, schedules, estimates, and established procedures.


10. Provide assistance to more experienced personnel for the technical aspects of complex tasks.


11. Perform technical information surveys.


12. Occasionally coordinate the work of drafters or others at the request of a senior engineer.


13. Occasionally supervise contractors on site.

Overview of Certifications and Job Requirements

University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Member of the OIQ, at least 8 years of relevant experience, fluent in French (both spoken and written), experience in mechanical engineering in the industrial, energy, or mining sectors, knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SmartPlant applications, available to travel occasionally between the Mont-Saint-Hilaire and Montréal offices, available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments at client offices or sites in Québec and Canada, major asset: Bilingual (English/French – spoken and written), asset: ASP Construction card.
