About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. PURPOSE:
Responsible for designing and delivering practical and theoretical training programs for mobile & Stationary equipment maintenance personnel.
SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY EXPECTATIONS:
Ensure all mechanics, apprentices, and technicians have the skills, knowledge, and safe work practices required to maintain and repair mobile & stationary equipment. Function as a technical mentor, competency assessor, and training resource to support maintenance excellence and workforce development.

This is a site based role at Alamos Gold, Island Gold District. The job is offered on a 4 day on 3 day off rotation with travel allowance and accommodation provided
