Mechanical Workface Planner - CNRL Albian - Maintenance

Jardeg is currently recruiting a Mechanical Workface Planner to join the maintenance team at the CNRL Albian site in Fort McMurray, AB.  This is a permanent position starting in April on a 7 on 7 off shift schedule, working 11.5 hours per day. Camp accommodations and flights provided from Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs.

Maintenance Planners are responsible for organizing the project work scope into manageable, measurable, progress-able and safe work packages.

Responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, executes front/end or field execution WFP activities for a single construction discipline.


• Collaboratively works within the WFP team and with Construction and other Project Functions.


• Mentors new Workface Planners as required.


• Has the ability to work as the sole Workface Planner for a single or multiple disciplines (if proven education and experience) on smaller projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Related industry experience with inter-provincial red seal (i.e. Millwright, Pipefitter, Ironworker) is required


• Experience with planning, budgeting and estimation


• Strong computer skills: Maximo or equivalent CMMS; Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Project/Primavera


• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test


• Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups


• Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Maintenance Experience


• Proficiency in Maximo
