Job Summary

SWCHC is looking for an experienced Medical Office Assistant to work in our busy Primary Health Care clinics.

Position Requirement

·       Education

o   Medical Office Assistant diploma (an asset)

·       Professional Experience

o   3–5 years’ experience in a clinic setting

o   Knowledge of PS Suite (an asset)

·       Key Competencies

o   Excellent
communication
skills

o   Proficient computer skills

·       Linguistic profile

o   Bilingual (English and French) preferred

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to,

o   Scheduling clients

o   Appointment registration

o   Answering phones

o   Maintaining
medical
files

o   Scanning

o   Faxing
