The Member Experience Team consists of collaborative professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent member experiences. The individuals on this team support daily banking needs, engage with members, and identify referral opportunities for key stakeholders. Member Experience Activities
Completes all member transactions including account openings, daily banking, and account maintenance accurately and efficiently
Participates in activities supporting the expansion of the member relationship by seeking opportunities to support sales and profitability goals including cross-selling and providing referrals for all BVCU products/services as well as 3rd party providers
Recommends appropriate products and services to current and prospective members by identifying and analyzing their needs, explaining features and benefits, and completing documentation in accordance with policies and procedures
Maintains discretion and confidentiality to respect members’ privacy
Operational and Administrative Activities
Adheres to BVCU policies and procedures to ensure all daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks are completed accurately, consistently and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Supports overall branch operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining related records
Performs internal auditing
Teamwork
Participates in a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages pride, teamwork, and mutual respect
Participates in training and development programs provided by internal and external resources
Actively participates in community events that are sponsored by BVCU
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Superior customer service skills with previous sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous cash handling experience is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Good critical thinking, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills; keen attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrates discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Good investigative skills for uncovering needs for members to support business growth
Committed to continuous learning and development
THE FINE PRINT:
This position is on-site
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:45 am to 5:15 pm
Must be bondable and have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
