The Role
The Member & Industry Relations Coordinator plays an important role in supporting member outreach, onboarding, engagement, and retention initiatives. Acting as a key point of contact for members and prospective members, this individual will help deliver an exceptional member experience while supporting broader organizational growth and engagement strategies.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, polished, organized, and comfortable building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary contact for member inquiries and engagement activities
Deliver exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
Coordinate member meetings, briefings, follow-ups, and engagement initiatives
Support outreach campaigns to attract and onboard new members
Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing member organizations
Maintain accurate CRM records and track engagement activities
Monitor member satisfaction and engagement through ongoing communication and feedback
Assist with reporting, dashboards, and engagement metrics for leadership
Support event participation, sponsorship outreach, and networking initiatives
Represent the organization at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure members receive timely updates and opportunities
Assist with surveys, engagement analytics, and member retention strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, member services, communications, customer relations, business development, or event coordination
Experience working with associations, non-profits, or industry organizations is considered an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
Highly organized with strong multitasking and project coordination abilities
Comfortable initiating outreach and engaging with senior stakeholders
Experience using CRM systems and digital communication tools
Professional, polished, and confident representing an organization publicly
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
