Merchandising Analyst

This is an existing, temporary full-time position until March, 2027.

SUMMARY:

The Merchandising Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the category and ensuring system data integrity is accurate including feature activity.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains regular daily and periodic reports including providing adhoc reports as necessary in support of the Category.- Costing system maintanance including promotional features.
- Promotional planning creation/maintenance.
- Create and submit new item creation and modifications requests.
- Product allocation creation for promotional and seasonal programs.
- Assist Merchandising team as necessary with category performance, and process improvement.
- Liase with internal and external contacts in a professional and timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post Secondary diploma or degree in Business or related field required.
- Strong analytical skills.- Advanced MS Office - particularly in Excel.
- Knowledge of Produce products
- Experience in perishables retail merchandising considered an asset.
- Attention to detail, creative thinking, ability to manage change, strong communication skills and customer focused.
