We are currently seeking talented and experienced Metal Fabricators specializing in Aluminum Guardrails to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in metal fabrication, particularly in the fabrication and installation of aluminum guardrails for construction projects. As a Metal Fabricator at New City Contracting, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our building envelope solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate aluminum guardrails according to project specifications, blueprints, and design drawings


• Measure, cut, and shape aluminum materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment


• Weld, rivet, or bolt aluminum components together to construct guardrail systems


• Install fabricated guardrails on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes


• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to coordinate guardrail installation activities and meet project deadlines


• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards and client expectations


• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator specializing in aluminum guardrails or similar metal fabrication work


• Proficiency in reading blueprints, design drawings, and technical specifications


• Strong knowledge of aluminum fabrication techniques, tools, and equipment


• Experience with welding, riveting, and other fabrication methods


• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy


• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions


• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
