As a Mobile Security Guard, you’ll perform vehicle patrols, respond to incidents, ensure safety compliance, and maintain clear documentation. You will play a key role in protecting people, property, and public safety in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete mobile patrols and respond to incidents as per protocols
• Maintain constant communication with dispatch, clients, and management
• Monitor outdoor premises in all weather conditions
• Enforce policies and report violations or safety concerns
• Document incidents, deficiencies, and daily activity logs
• Report vehicle issues or maintenance needs
• Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services
• Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and adherence to procedures
• Ensure all activity complies with municipal, provincial, and federal laws
• Perform other duties as required

Must-Have

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB-approved)
• Valid G Class Driver’s License with clean 3-year abstract
• Proof of double COVID-19 vaccination
• Completed immunization records for MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Pertussis, and Tuberculosis (Step 1 & 2)
• Minimum 1 year of security experience
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Ability to work independently and remain alert outdoors in all weather
• Fluent in English (oral & written)
• Must attend a 4-day pre-deployment training at the Kingston Branch (virtual/in-class blend)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in mobile patrol security
• Commercial security experience (e.g., retail, facilities)
• Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behaviour)
• Applicants without these can complete Paladin’s UoF/MOAB training pre-hire (company-paid, 6-month role commitment required)
