Claims Adjuster – Level 2
Auto, Property & Liability Claims
HTM is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Claims Adjuster – Level 2 to join our Claims team. In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve automobile, accident benefits (AB), minor liability, property, and auto physical damage claims in a timely and efficient manner while delivering excellent service to our policyholders.
This position is ideal for an adjuster with solid claims experience who enjoys problem-solving, managing claims from investigation through settlement, and building strong relationships with customers and service partners.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and manage auto, accident benefits (AB), liability, and property claims
Assess policy coverage and determine claim eligibility
Conduct thorough investigations and gather supporting documentation
Review estimates and reports from appraisers, contractors, and other service providers
Set and monitor claim reserves
Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities
Negotiate settlements and process claim payments
Maintain detailed file notes and claims documentation
Communicate clearly and promptly with policyholders and stakeholders
Manage claims efficiently through to fair and timely resolution
Qualifications
2–5 years of claims adjusting experience, preferably with auto and/or property claims
College diploma or university degree in a related field
CIP designation or working toward CIP is considered an asset
Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $56,400 – $84,600 annually (based on experience)

After probation: Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home
