Multiphase Field Specialist

SLB is seeking a motivated, safety\u2011focused, and technically curious individual to join our Grande Prairie, AB team as a Multiphase Specialist. In this role, you will directly support field operations by preparing, operating, sampling, troubleshooting, and rigging up and down multiphase flow meters (MPFM \u2013 Vx) at wellsite locations. For more information about SLB, please visit www.slb.com.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\n * Work independently in low\u2011connectivity field environments, troubleshooting issues and performing under pressure, including H\u2082S conditions.\n * Design, prepare, and execute MPFM jobs as per the customer test program.\n * Manage data QA/QC, run power and communications, update meter configurations using internal software, and use internal business systems to generate accurate job reports.\n * Safely handle/transport dangerous goods (radioactive, flammable) after training; operate forklift and overhead crane as needed.\n * Apply good mechanical aptitude and basic electrical skills to equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.\n * Typical multiphase metering job scope (end\u2011to\u2011end):\n\n\n * Design the meter size and configuration; prepare equipment at base (paperwork, hardware, function checks, regulatory \u0026 HSE compliance).\n * Mobilize equipment and personnel to the wellsite.\n * Rig up, configure, and flow through equipment.\n * Take onsite fluid samples (atmospheric \u0026 pressurized bottles for Lab PVT work) and use basic lab equipment (centrifuge, densitometers, hydrometers, separation funnels).\n * Work on regular or rotational schedules of up to 21 days, depending on business needs, with 12\u2011 to 14\u2011hour shifts when in the field.\n * Rig down, demobilize to base, and perform equipment maintenance/prep for the next job.\n\n\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\n * Diploma or BSc in Chemical, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.\n * Mechanical and basic electrical/automation skills preferred.\n * Experience in flowback, drillouts, or well testing preferred.\n * Computer skills.\n * Class 5 driver\u2019s license and clean driving record.\n * Forklift and crane operator certifications are a plus.\n * TDG training, CSO, First Aid Level 2, and H2S Alive are a plus.\n * Strong problem\u2011solving abilities.\n * Excellent interpersonal communication and a strong work ethic are essential.\n * Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.\n\n\n\nSchlumberger Canada Limited is committed to workplace diversity and employment equity and supports initiatives to enhance employment opportunities for local workforces and Indigenous Persons.\n\n-\n
