Nanny

A private family in North Vancouver is seeking a Nanny/Family Assistant to care for their school-aged children and help manage household responsibilities.

Days/Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday - Thursday: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm + flexibility

Skills Required: Tech savvy, Experienced with children, Excellent time management skills, highly organized, experienced driver (5+ years).

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 gross annual Salary (Commensurate with experience) + Benefits

Duties/ Responsibilities:

CHILD CARE:

- Provide warm and caring supervision, for two school age children

- Help organize fun and educational outside activities. The children love arts and crafts, soccer, baking, going to the park, and anything else to keep them moving!

- Support the teaching of manners and assist the development of social skills.

- Support the process of schoolwork

- Walk family dog twice daily.

- Take children to doctor/appointments during work time

- Manage Children's weekly/monthly calendar

- Organize play dates for Pro-D days or after school 1 day a week

CLEANING:

- Daily tidying of the main floor of house and putting items away

- Children's laundry

- Tidy children’s rooms

- Assist children with their chores

- Make household beds.

KITCHEN / MEAL PREPARATION:

- Make children breakfast

- Pack lunches for school

- Simple dinner prep for children’s meals as needed (minimal as they have a part-time cook)

- Cut fruit in fridge & veggies for kids to eat

- Order online (or add to list) missing groceries that get used up in the house.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum 3+ years of experience with verifiable references.

- Valid Driver's Licence. 5+ years of driving experience.

- Fully vaccinated against COVID19 (minimum 2 doses).

- Legally entitled to work in Canada. No sponsorships.
