Job Description - Nanny & Household Assistant

We are a busy family looking for a superstar nanny to help raise our 18-month-old daughter into the best version of herself. This is not just a babysitting job—we need someone who is engaged, proactive, and dedicated to her growth and development.

If you’re the type of person who just sits on the couch watching TV, this is NOT the job for you. We are looking for a high-energy, responsible, and organized individual who will help create a fun and educational environment while also assisting with light household tasks.

Responsibilities

Childcare & Development

Provide active, hands-on care for our 18-month-old daughter.

Plan engaging activities that promote learning, development, and play.

Take her on outings (e.g., parks, libraries, playgroups) when appropriate.

Follow a structured daily routine, including meals, naps, and activities.

Encourage language development and early learning skills through reading and interaction.

Household Assistance

Light meal preparation (healthy meals/snacks for the child).

Laundry & tidying up while the child naps.

Keep the kitchen and play areas clean and organized.

Assist with general household tasks as needed (not full house cleaning).

Requirements

✔ Criminal Record Check (must be completed before hiring).
✔ Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle (for emergencies and outings).
✔ Fluent in English (strong communication skills required).
✔ Must have at least two references from past employers.
✔ Must be active and engaged—NO sitting around watching TV.
✔ Cooking & basic household tasks required during downtime.

Compensation: $45,000.00 per year
