The opportunity
The role we’re looking to fill is a fantastic contract opportunity for someone who is passionate about the potential for new technology to transform how healthcare is delivered and the improvement it can make to patients and their well-being.
The product you’ll help to build and shape empowers GP practices and CCG (Clinical Commissioning Groups) to be more efficient and effective by enabling patients to get instant advice about their symptoms 24/7 and get directed to the best place of treatment.

Your role and responsibilities:
·Using exciting technologies to solve real-world problems in a timely manner

REQUIREMENTS

Your skills and experience:
·A skilled engineer, in the truest sense
·A champion of patterns and best practices (going beyond the dogma)
·Essential experience in cloud architecture, instrumentation, and CI/CD
·Essential experience in .NET/ASP.NET (including Core), Azure, Docker, Design Patterns, RESTful API design, SQL, async programming, distributed storage
·Willing to take accountability for the decisions (and mistakes!) you make
·Able to solve technical and non-technical problems independently, but willing to ask for help when necessary
·A clear and articulate communicator, who knows the value of collaboration
·Able to recognise the best in yourself and bring out the best in others
·Experience of working within a healthcare business would be beneficial
It would be useful if you were also:
·Experienced with Functions-as-a-Service, Enterprise Integration Patterns, queues
·Experienced in working in partnership with Front-end and Mobile developers
·Experienced in advising or implementing DevOps solutions
·Experienced in executing and contributing to technical strategy
