A Day in the Life:
- Implement network technology solutions to help meet clients’ requirements and solve challenges
- Support the implementation of standard and custom technical solutions under the guidance of senior team members
- Participate in operational escalations to help diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and assist in replacing defective components when necessary
- Support the implementation of network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
- Help create relevant documentation as required, including but not limited to conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations information
- Provide input and support for recommending changes to improve systems and network configurations in client environments
What You Bring:
- 1 year of experience with network and/or general IT systems support, deployment, and administration (Co-op, internship, or professional experience)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities
- Strong desire to develop and grow your technical skills not only in networking but other areas of IT Consulting
- Foundational knowledge or exposure to:
- Networking Route/Switch concepts
- Firewalls: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto (hands-on experience is a bonus)
- Security: Awareness of Cisco ISE and/or Clearpass is an asset
- Cisco Duo familiarity is a plus
What Makes You Extra Awesome:
- Server Infrastructure experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
