Position Overview:

As a NSO Supervisor, you thrive to succeed in a fast-paced environment by demonstrating true leadership skills and achieving sales goals set by upper management. Sukoshi Mart is looking for a candidate with an upbeat personality that has a genuine passion and deep knowledge for beauty and skincare, and Asian pop culture. You enjoy mentoring and motivating your team to ensure first class customer service. As a NSO Supervisor, you will lead the store manager in ensuring store operations which include (but not limited to): sales delivery, ordering, scheduling, merchandising, training are done completely.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan that includes timelines, milestones, and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate with various departments (marketing, operations, HR, finance) to ensure all aspects of the store opening are aligned.

Location Setup:

  • Oversee the physical setup of the store, including layout design, fixtures, and signage.
  • Ensure all equipment and systems (POS, inventory management, security) are installed and operational.

Staffing:

  • Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure they are ready for the opening.

Inventory Management:

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of stock.
  • Implement inventory management systems and procedures to track stock levels and sales.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Plan and execute a marketing strategy to generate buzz and attract customers to the new store.
  • Organize events and promotions to drive traffic and sales during the opening period.

Compliance and Permits:

  • Ensure the store complies with local regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for operating the store.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Set up metrics to monitor the store's performance during the initial phase.
  • Gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to improve operations.

About the role:

Detailed Planning:

  • Create a detailed timeline and checklist to track progress and ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.

Communication:

  • Maintain open and regular communication with all stakeholders to keep everyone informed and address issues promptly.

Flexibility:

  • Be prepared to handle unexpected challenges and adjust plans as needed.
  • Traveling is a large part of this role

Training:

  • Invest time in thorough training for your staff to ensure they are confident and capable from day one.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with the local community through events and partnerships to build a loyal customer base.

Focus on Customer Experience:

  • Prioritize creating an exceptional customer experience to ensure a positive first impression and repeat business.

Post-Opening Support:

  • Provide ongoing support to the store team after the opening to address any issues and ensure a smooth transition to regular operations.

As we are currently growing and opening new locations, the ability to travel between store locations within the GTA, Ottawa, and other places is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $52,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
