As a Night Cleaning Attendant, you'll play a vital role in preparing our facility each day for the individuals and families who rely on the Y to support their health, well-being, and sense of community.

• Reporting to: Manager, Housekeeping


• Location: H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre


• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, overnight shifts

What You Will Do 

In this role, you will help create the environment that supports positive member experiences by maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility presentation.

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public, staff, and common areas throughout the facility.


• Complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks to ensure facility standards are consistently met.


• Monitor facility conditions and identify maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or operational issues requiring attention.


• Organize and prioritize cleaning responsibilities to efficiently meet shift expectations and operational requirements.

What You Bring 

• Experience in custodial services, cleaning, facility maintenance, or a related field.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.


• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while maintaining productivity.


• Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive cleaning tasks.


• Valid Class 5 Driver's License is an asset.
