Job Summary

Provide friendly customer service while assisting with sales to achieve store objectives. Create and maintain visually appealing product displays and ensure merchandising standards are upheld.

Main Duties

• Greet customers, assess needs, provide product information and recommend suitable items to drive sales.
• Operate point -of -sale systems to process purchases, returns and exchanges, and handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Design, set up and refresh visual displays, signage and product placements to support promotions and seasonal merchandising plans.
• Restock merchandise, organize shelves and backstock, and participate in regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation standards and accurate pricing to ensure a positive shopping environment.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns, escalate issues to management when necessary, and collaborate with colleagues to meet sales targets.

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic numeracy and demonstrated cash -handling experience.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with point -of -sale and inventory systems.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
