Co-coordinator for the doctoral course: NUR2 730, Theory development in Nursing:

  • Updating of course outline, materials, and MyCourses page for the students.
  • Leads teaching activities by organizing and facilitating instructor- and student-led discussions.
  • Organizes and grades course assignments.
  • Meets with or holds advising sessions with students as needed.
  • Submission of final student grades.


Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education

PhD in Nursing

Experience

  • Has experience teaching nursing students (as a lecturer or TA), preferably at the graduate level.
  • Has previously taken the course NUR2 730 – Theory development in Nursing.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of theoretical developments in the field of Nursing.
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research traditions.
  • Has experience in leadership roles in the discipline of Nursing.
