Location: Various locations across Alberta

As a
Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality
healthcare services to patients across diverse settings. Your responsibilities
will include conducting assessments, diagnosing and treating health conditions,
and developing comprehensive care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


Key
Responsibilities:

  • Perform
    thorough physical examinations and health assessments to evaluate patient needs
    and conditions.

  • Diagnose
    and manage acute and chronic illnesses, developing treatment plans that include
    medication management and lifestyle recommendations.

  • Collaborate
    with healthcare teams, including physicians and specialists, to ensure cohesive
    patient care and follow-up.

  • Educate
    patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and
    preventive care strategies to promote wellness.

  • Maintain
    accurate and timely records of patient encounters, treatment plans, and
    outcomes in electronic health records (EHR).

  • Stay
    informed about the latest advancements in healthcare practices and contribute
    to quality improvement initiatives within the organization.

  • Serve as a patient advocate, providing support
    and guidance throughout the healthcare process while respecting patient
    autonomy and confidentiality.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
  • Valid state NP license and current CPR certification.
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred; specialized training in areas such as family practice, pediatrics, or geriatrics is a plus.
  • Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring confidentiality.
