Compass Early Learning and Care – SJF is a new program set to open in January 2026. This location will offer an infant, a toddler, and a preschool room for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. What makes SJF unique is its connection to St. Joseph at Fleming’s long-term care home, creating a unique opportunity for intergenerational engagement. This innovative setting will foster meaningful relationships between children and older adults, enriching the lives of both through shared experiences and community-building activities.
About the role:
At Compass ELC, you will work as a Nutrition Specialist alongside some of the most passionate, caring and dedicated educators in the industry. You will spend your time planning, prepping, and cooking nutritious and delicious meals and snacks, following the Canada Food Guide, the Ministry of Education, and Compass Early Learning and Care policies and guidelines. You will model and grow a perspective of equity and strive for a deeper understanding of cultural awareness.
Hours will be based on program needs and funding. You will work 35 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours may vary between 6:30 am and 6 pm.
