John McGivney Children’s Centre School Authority Occasional Teacher Positions The John McGivney Children’s Centre School Authority, located in Windsor Ontario, is seeking to employ occasional teachers to work with students with physical and learning exceptionalities in a multidisciplinary treatment centre. POSITION: ?*occasional teaching in a multi-disciplinary treatment centre school ?* teach students age 4 to 14 years with physical and/or learning exceptionalities ?*teach students with a wide range of exceptionalities DUTIES: ?*develop and implement individual educational plans (IEPs) ?*assess/evaluate student performance and achievement ?*work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team ?*implement teaching duties as outlined in the Education Act ?*responsible to the principal QUALIFICATIONS: ?*Ontario Teaching Certificate ?*Special Education Qualifications (minimum Part 1) ?*member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers ?*minimum of two years teaching experience in community schools ?*experience teaching children with significant special needs ?*strong computer skills ?*primary/junior qualifications ?*music qualifications preferred * fluency in Arabic is an asset Application package should include: 1. resume 2.three letters of references 3.Certificate of Qualifications 4.Ontario College of Teachers registration number Email to: [email protected]
