Ocean Import Agent (12-month contract)

Mandate 
As an Ocean Import Agent you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Ocean Import team. You will manage shipment documentation, monitor and trace shipments, and coordinate the workload for assigned teams. This position requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Track and trace shipments 

• Ensure all necessary shipment documentation is received, accurately processed, and properly distributed to the appropriate parties.  

• Confirm all details for incoming shipments  

• Coordinate with team members by distributing tasks according to priority, ensuring that deadlines are met, and operational processes run smoothly. 

Requirements: 

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, preferably in ocean freight operations. 

• Proficiency in Office 365 

• Experience with CargoWise is considered an asset.
