Hours

The expected work hours run 8:00am until 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. Overtime may be required according to business needs. You will be eligible for overtime in accordance with Provincial Legislation.

Job Responsibilities

This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers interested in mobile and off-grid solar energy solutions. Provide expert guidance, educate customers on the benefits of mobile and off-grid solar systems, and facilitate the sales process from initial inquiry to project completion. Provide ongoing support and assistance to ensure customer satisfaction and system performance.  Provide inventory management for the retail and wholesale departments.

Duties

• Provide customer service for walk-in, phone call or email inquiries


• Provide customers with equipment options to fulfill their needs, with turnkey solutions


• Create estimates & sales orders for retail and wholesale customers


• Provide customers with pricing, availability & backorder timelines


• Check website inquires and forward appropriately


• Keep customers accounts and sales orders up to date


• Work with AP & AR regarding wholesale and retail customer accounts and required paperwork


• Customer picking & packing, freight quotes, shipping orders


• System design, assembly, programming and commissioning as required

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to design PV systems at varying power levels


• Knowledge in electrical design concepts and electrical code


• A quality mindset and attention to detail are important.


• Two or more years in a similar position


• A related trades certification would be an asset


• Other suitable HVAC, RV Tech, Electrical, Mechanical experience will also be considered
