Job Description - Office Manager

General Description


Reporting to the Executive Director/CEO, the Office Manager oversees corporate functions that support the smooth operation of the main office and our client programs.


 


The successful candidate will supervise the administrative and financial team, which is responsible for general office administration, accounts payable and receivable, health & safety coordination, records management, and program logistical support (fleet and asset management).


 


Qualifications



  • Diploma in office management, business administration or a related field

  • Basic bookkeeping experience (Sage50 desirable)

  • Knowledge of financial practices and processes

  • Ability to be organized, meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities

  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal


 


Conditions of Employment:



  • RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check

  • Class 5 Yukon Driver’s Licence

  • Eligible for OY vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years insured driving in Canada - driver's abstract, insurance claims history).
