Job Description - On-Premise & Luxury Field Sales Director

The On-Premise & Luxury Field Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with customers to support the growth of the Dandurand Group’s business (wine & spirits) in the On-Premise channel.

*This position is based in the Greater Toronto Area.*

Responsibilities

  • Manages and motivates a team of On-Premise field sales professionals for wine and spirits.
  • Implements operational plans for sales and distribution of Dandurand Group’s portfolio in the On-Premise channel.
  • Monitors and analyzes sales performance and tracks KPI’s, adjusting tactics where needed to achieve planned targets.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key regional account partners.
  • Spends time in field coaching and developing their sales team.
  • Tracks, ranks and publishes results.
  • Creates quarterly launch presentations communicating important priorities and ensure supporting tools are in place.
  • Responsibly manages an A&P budget to invest with customers.
  • Monitors and reviews expense reports to effectively manage the T&E budget.
  • Oversees development and implementation of activations (promotions, tastings, product visibility, etc.) with customers.
  • Identifies new business opportunities and works with the National Director of Luxury & On-Premise Director to build business cases for approval.

Education & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • Master’s degree in business administration (an asset)
  • 7 years Consumer Packaged Goods experience with Beverage Alcohol
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the On-Premise channel of the Beverage Alcohol Industry
  • A minimum of 3 years of Sales management experience leading high performing teams
