Operations Manager

OPERATIONS MANAGER – INJECTION MOLDING

A growing injection molding manufacturer is adding an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day plant operations at one of its facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct oversight of supervisors and production teams, focused on execution, accountability, and building structure within a fast-growing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily operations across a multi-shift injection molding facility


• Manage Production Supervisors and shift leads


• Drive performance across scrap, on-time delivery, and overall plant KPIs


• Build structure and accountability across supervisors and production teams


• Support training and development of supervisors and operators


• Partner with leadership to implement systems and processes to support growth


• Oversee safety, compliance, and plant standards including LOTO and inspections


• Maintain strong presence on the floor and build rapport with operators

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience


• Strong background in injection molding required


• Experience leading supervisors and production teams in a hands-on environment


• Comfortable working in a smaller, less structured operation


• Experience with lean, process improvement, or building systems is a plus


• Ability to drive accountability and develop frontline leadership


• Spanish language skills are a plus
