Job Summary: 

Primary responsibilities of the position include compliance with the daily production schedule, customer service, client, the financial performance of the area, the implementation of operational excellence initiatives (EOHS, quality, FP&R), employee relations and drive team development and performance. The OTL achieves success through collaborative partnerships with Supply Chain and leveraging the renewed focus of the company in agility, Supply Chain FEED

Main Responsibilities:

EOHS

  • Demonstrates understanding, ensures compliance with, and applies corporate and management policies and procedures. Relevant site EOHS, including but not limited to minimum security requirements (MSB), lockout/tagout (LOTO), Hazardous Communications Requirements (HazCom)
  • Participates in the implementation of EOHS principles and corrective actions through walks and a effective monitoring.
  • Accurately completes workplace observations to standards
  • Participate in incident reports and incident investigations
  • Knows the emergency response plan and implements it when necessary

Quality

  • Demonstrates understanding, ensures compliance with, and applies corporate and management policies and procedures.
  • Know the basics of cGMP requirements and ensure compliance
  • Performs and ensures good documentation practices.
  • Actively participates in walks to identify problems and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Knows proper storage and handling and ensures compliance
  • Ensures line validation is completed: Knows basic cleaning and sanitation steps and is ensures they are completed correctly
  • Prepare reports and monitor non-conformities
  • Understands quality procedures and documentation requirements and ensures compliance.
  • Ensures that technicians and operators follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Understand the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Effectively completes CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for any IF (Improvement Investigations). 

FP&R:

  • Leverage the FP&R program, standards and guidelines to drive performance
  • Management systems
  • Facilitates shift change meetings to facilitate uninterrupted operations Understands and participates in the
  • Standard daily meeting
  • Use data analytics (OPERA, Tableau, etc.) to identify opportunities to drive performance to through immediate solutions and long-term improvements.
  • Analyzes and understands the origin of material losses and implements actions to reduce them.
  • Understand the AEM model to drive plant performance and operational KPIs.
  • Knows 5S and VW principles and ensures they are consistently maintained
  • Understand and participate in 5S inspections for your area.
  • Planned maintenance
  • Understand the planned maintenance process and how it affects production operations.
  • Ensures execution of planned maintenance plans
  • Supports activities to address equipment issues
