What You’ll Be Doing

• Operate loaders safely: Manoeuvre front-end wheel loaders efficiently to transport stockpiles, aggregates, and bulk materials.
• Load transport vehicles: Fill haul trucks and material hoppers to precise target weights smoothly.
• Conduct daily inspections: Execute pre-operational equipment checks on fluids, brakes, and safety systems daily.
• Perform routine maintenance: Grease, refuel, clean the operator cab, and complete basic equipment servicing.
• Maintain safety standards: Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and local environmental hazard regulations

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated operational competency: Proven capability to safely navigate wheel loaders in active production environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude: Skill to identify equipment malfunctions and assist with preventative repairs.
• Excellent spatial awareness: High proficiency in hand-eye coordination to navigate busy worksites securely.
• Clear communication skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with ground crew using radios and signals.
• Valid driver's license: Possession of a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post offer pre employment physical examination and background check.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
