Optical Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking a talented Optical Engineer to join our dynamic team, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge optical coherent transponder cards. As an optical engineer focused on Optical Transponder optical integration and oDVT (optical design verification test), you will play a crucial role in bringing up optimal performance and ensuring the optical performance and quality.

Key Responsibility:

• Lead the integration process of optical modules into optical line cards and ensuring optical performance.
• Develop key calibration procedures for various optical modules.
• Collaborate with XF team to improve the performance.
• Develop and implement testing methodologies to evaluate key performance for coherent line modules.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including test plans, test procedures and test reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in optical design, testing, and integration, particularly with optical transponders or related components.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation and data analysis.
• Familiarity with optical characterization equipment and measurement techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex optical systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
