Job Description - Oracle DBA with Golden Gate

MBI Digital is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator with 8+ years of Core Oracle DBA experience in patching, support, tuning, install/deploy and exposure to application teams.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 5 years of Golden Gate experience. Any MongoDB experience, OEM support experience is huge plus.

This is a 100% remote opportunity. Candidate should be willing to work in 8am-5pm PST time zone

Experience: 8+ years

  • Golden Gate installation, replication and implementation
  • Database Administration and Architecture along with experience in Golden Gate
  • Administered Production Databases & have knowledge of different Oracle versions from 9i to 11g and Golden Gate
  • Any MongoDB exp would be a plus
  • Any OEM support experience is huge plus
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Manager, RAC, Performance Tuning, Database Development
  • Should have knowledge of Active-Passive Cluster
  • Support Database Operations with working close to application team
  • Should have worked with tools like Remedy, Oracle Enterprise manager, Oracle Support
  • Should accomplish on call support for Database during peak times & ready to work in 24/7 environment
  • Support Database upgrade &migration and perform production checks
  • Ensure availability and performance of All Production Databases
  • Manage Database Operations support along with performance tuning & PL-SQL & Unix scripting
  • Work on incidents, service-requests and change requests from the user departments
  • Should have minimal introductory knowledge of database connection to middleware & other application tiers
  • Experience for working with an internationally team. To come up with ideas to enhance the monitoring and maintenance of systems
  • Ability to support 24*7 rotating shifts with On-call weekend coverage
