Organizational Development & Inclusion Manager (Hybrid - Toronto)

Now Brewing – Talent and Inclusion Leaders! #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection.

At Starbucks, we believe in creating an environment where every partner (employee) can grow, thrive, and belong. We are looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to design and implement talent and inclusion programs that fuel our culture of excellence, equity, and innovation. If you are passionate about shaping inclusive workplaces and driving impactful leadership development, this role is for you!

As the organizational development & inclusion manager you will collaborate with senior leaders, HR teams, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and the Inclusion Council to shape talent, learning, and inclusion strategies across Canada. You will assess needs, build high-impact programs, and drive initiatives that elevate leadership effectiveness, team engagement, and diversity across our organization.

As an organizational development & inclusion manager, you will:

Program Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute learning, talent, and inclusion programs that foster leadership growth, team effectiveness, and career development.

  • Implement enterprise-wide initiatives while tailoring Canada-specific programs that align with business priorities.

  • Lead change management efforts to support transformation and inclusion goals.

  • Track success through key performance indicators (KPIs) and use insights to continuously improve programs.

Influence & Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders and HR teams on leadership development, inclusion, and culture transformation.

  • Partner with external thought leaders and organizations to bring the best talent and inclusion practices to Starbucks.

  • Engage with ERGs and the Inclusion Council to amplify the impact of employee-led initiatives.

Team Leadership & Growth

  • Lead and develop a team of learning and inclusion professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development to team members.

  • Establish clear goals, priorities, and success measures for your team.

 Inclusion & Belonging Champion

  • Embed inclusion principles into all talent and leadership programs, ensuring representation and equity at all levels.

  • Develop and execute community engagement initiatives that drive positive social impact.

Data-Driven Excellence

  • Create tracking systems to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

  • Analyze data, gather feedback, and recommend strategic enhancements.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to showcase progress and guide decision-making.

We’d love to hear from people with:

  • 5+ years leading learning, talent, or inclusion programs in a corporate, nonprofit, or academic setting.

  • 2+ years of experience managing a team.

  • 6+ years in organizational development, talent strategy, or inclusion roles within a large organization.

  • Expertise in leadership development, cultural transformation, or adult learning methodologies.

  • Strong consulting and advisory skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in data analysis to measure program impact.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially at the executive level.

  • Experience in coaching, learning program design, or change management is a plus.
