1. Profile and maintain a list of existing
and potential donors, High Net-worth
individuals and reach out to them.
2. Identify and reach out to Industry
ambassadors to help create and
maintain the list of BITSians in various
companies.
3. Profile and maintain a list of all BITSian
academics in various Indian and foreign
universities.
4. Profile and maintain a list of all
BITSians in other industries and walks
of life– like civil services, literature,
sports, politics etc
5. Work with the local Chapter leadership
as a BITSAA Intl liaison to
communicate the changes in the local
chapter leadership, major news
updates and event information and
anything else interesting happening in
the chapter.

Role Responsibilities
1. Sync with your team periodically and make
sure things are on track
2. Coordinate with the local chapter volunteers
/ leadership and the BITSAA
Communications team to make sure the
changes in the local chapter leadership,
major news updates and event information,
anything else happening in the chapter is
communicated to the BITSAA Universe.
3. Work with the VP Outreach (India/US/UK
etc) to help connect them to various pockets
of BITSians.

Position Name Tech Evangelist
Role Responsibilities
 Work with the BITSAA Tech team to come
up with a blueprint – as a guideline, for
every BITSAA Chapter to follow. (branding,
blogs, which event management system to
use, investigate payment gateway systems
and recommend , nomenclature for mailing
lists etc)
 Drive adoption of the framework
 Figure out a way for easy discovery of the
plethora of BITSAA chapter, department,
club, batches - Yahoo/ google/facebook
groups

 Necessary technical skills
 Preferably someone who has worked for a
BITSAA Chapter and has seen the issues in
“starting up” firsthand

Position Name Secretary BITSAA Chapter Leadership Council
Role Responsibilities
 Lead as the nominee of the CEO in the
BITSAA Chapter Leadership Council and
coordinate & run the Council meetings.
 Document, archive and communicate the
key decisions taken by the BITSAA chapter
council to all chapters.
 Work with the VP Outreach (India/US/UK
etc) to help connect them to various pockets
of BITSians.
