Job Description

Our Traction store located in Rigaud is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for a regular full-time position.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Schedule visits to meet with existing and/or potential clients to establish a good professional relationship and generate new sales
  • Be responsible for increasing individual sales for the assigned territories
  • Work with store managers to develop sales development plans to grow business with existing and potential clients in the assigned territory
  • Monitor market conditions and gather strategic information on the market and competition.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers;
  • Present and demonstrate municipal equipment as well as equipment in the field of recycling collection, waste removal, and sales of parts on the road;
  • Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions;
  • Achieve and exceed established sales and rental goals;
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events;
  • Provide exceptional after-sales service;
  • Complete required sales reports and documents within specified deadlines.

Qualifications

To join our team, you need:

  • Bilingualism in French and English, as you will be working fluently with internal customers across Canada.
  • 5 years of experience in heavy machinery sales or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Valid driver’s license.
