Job Description - Oxygen Equipment Service & Patient Support

OXYGEN EQUIPMENT SERVICE & PATIENT SUPPORT:  A CAREER FOR THOSE WHO ENJOY HELPING OTHERS

WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT?
In a typical day, you’ll be excited to start the day at the crack of noon, energized and SELF-MOTIVATED to tackle the day. We have a great deal of clients who need their equipment serviced and you will primarily be responsible to:



  • Plan equipment service appointments within 4 geographical areas of Winnipeg each day 

  • Phone clients to book their appointment

  • Operate a company van where you must rely on side mirrors only

  • Disassemble medical equipment in the client's home ensuring it is functioning properly then clean and sanitize it

  • Use a tablet to electronically book appointments and complete various required documentation

  • Be efficient and logical in planning your route to maximize use of time and fuel

  • Work in the warehouse as required

  • Perform general administrative duties and data entry




Secondarily, you will provide basic support to our team of Oxygen Technicians, as needed. This includes independently delivering and setting up oxygen equipment in client homes and providing basic education on its use. 



WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?



  • Completion of high school

  • Class 5 drivers license

  • Proficient with using basic hand tools and minor mechanical troubleshooting

  • General experience with databases and accurate data entry

  • An eagerness to embrace Careica Health’s coveted culture and live our values each and every day

  • Satisfactory Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Search / Child and Adult Abuse Registry Searches

  • This is a full-time gig, with a 37.5-hour work week - Monday to Friday from 12:00-8:00 PM
