We are looking for a Packager to join our team at Stinson Equipment.

Stinson is a full-service, traffic management and traffic safety company with three locations (Concord, Woodbridge, Gormley) in Ontario and has long been considered by those in the industry to be Ontario’s leader for traffic safety products and services. Over the past 60 years we have been proudly providing quality traffic management solutions to Ontario’s municipalities, construction, industrial, private, and public sectors.

You have-

• Strong attention to detail 


• Self-motivated 


• Able to work in a team environment 


• Willingness to learn 


• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and listening) 


• Ability to lift 40 lbs. 


• Experience in a similar role is an asset but not required 


• Knowledge of Book 7 is an asset 


• Ability to work overtime as required
  

As a packager you will

• Perform quality check of all items prior to packaging to ensure Stinson’s quality standards are maintained 

• Review customer order forms and ensure appropriate customer packaging instructions are clear  

• Bundle signs according to maximum allowable weight and ensure orders are packed appropriately as per customer instructions including using a strapping machine 

• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met 

• Place packaged orders onto skids, using the pump truck to move skids; use hand tools to extend the size of the skid if required. 

• Use skid wrapper if required 

• Once packed, move to skids to the staging area for the Shipping team 

• Monitor packaging materials inventory and advise the Procurement team of materials required  

• Other duties as assigned to meet customer and business needs
