At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, our facilities are a reflection of our pride in offering exceptional guest experiences. As a Painter, you will help maintain the aesthetic quality and integrity of our property by providing professional painting, finishing, and touch-up services throughout the hotel.

Position Type: Permanent

Pay Rate: $20.33 - $36.73/hour dependent on level of experience/qualification.

Start Date: July 2025

Job Duties Include: 

• Prepare and paint surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim using appropriate techniques and tools.
• Perform drywall repairs, patching, taping, and sanding as needed.
• Maintain all painted surfaces to ensure the hotel is always presented at its best.
• Safely store, label, and handle all paint products and related materials.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks related to finishes and coatings.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and ventilation procedures.

• Alberta Painter and Decorator Journeyperson certification an asset
• Must have hand tool requirements as listed in the Letter of Agreement B Local 4325A.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta drivers licence and clean abstract required.
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and work at heights.

Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
