Partners in Education Co-Chair (2)

Honorarium Position
This committee has the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Pathways to Education, an organization that helps youth from low-income communities graduate from high school and successfully transition into post-secondary education, training, or employment. Work closely with your Co-Chair, the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners, and the Community Outreach Commissioner to make a tangible and lasting impact in the Queen’s community.

Expected Time Commitment and Remuneration

12-month term from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026 with a time commitment of 5 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize weekly meetings with the committee
• Work with your co-chair and committee to organize and execute events and initiatives
• Hire committee members and volunteers and act as a liaison between all parties
• Maintain contact with the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners and the Community Outreach Commissioner to best access ASUS resources
• Assist in Commission-wide meetings, events and initiatives
