The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $67,200 - $88,200. The offered salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting full-time opportunity to join our Parts Supply team located in Bowmanville, ON. This role will report directly to the Manager, Parts Supply and will support the achievement of department customer service targets through forecasting, ordering, and distribution of essential service parts.

What You’ll be Doing: 

  • Maintain friendly and professional relationships with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values 

  • Ordering & Replenishment: Places daily or weekly stock orders, processes purchase orders, and tracks incoming/outgoing products 

  • Communicates with suppliers and key stakeholders to coordinate PO placement, confirm ETAs, and resolve backorder issues

  • Investigate and complete root cause analyses of supply disruptions and impacts to customer fill rate; develop counter measures to mitigate future inventory shortfalls 

  • Analyze TCI’s inventory to identify current and future obsolescence obligations; create action plans and present opportunities to improve profitability 

  • Complete yearly Part Number Code (PNC) factor analysis for new model service parts to ensure parts availability during first 6 months of vehicle life cycle 

  • Prepare necessary files and complete tasks  for monthly forecasts and vendor purchase orders 

  • Maintain the integrity of all information in Parts Ordering System at the Part Number level  

  • Maintain and distribute weekly/monthly reports focusing on efficient inventory management 

 

What You’ll Bring: 

 

  • University/College degree/diploma in business, operations management, supply chain, or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years’ work experience in inventory demand planning, operations, or similar discipline 

  • Knowledge of inventory forecasting and distribution  

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office with advanced Excel skills 

  • Working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA, and IBP forecasting, is considered an asset 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Proven ability to initiate & improve processes to increase efficiencies
