Reporting into the Payroll Manager, the Pay Master will be responsible for the management, processing and accuracy of their assigned payroll process.

What you’re responsible for:

• Overseeing and participating in the payroll processing process to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax and labour laws for over 3,000 employees.
• Coordinating all operational payroll activities.
• Proposing and implementing improvements to optimize payroll process.
• Ensuring payment deadlines are respected.
• Mentoring other of the payroll team to improve efficiencies and knowledge of the process.
• Serving as a point of contact with tax authorities and government agencies.
• Working closely with finance and human resource departments to ensure close communication.

• You have 10 years of payroll experience.
• You have full cycle payroll experience.
• You have knowledge in Payroll platforms. Dayforce would be considered an asset.
•  You are bilingual in French and English.
• You have Strong Knowledge in MS Excel.
