Payroll and Billing Clerk

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the timely and accurate cash application in Netsuite under the supervision of the Accounting Manager and Billing & AR Manager


• Responsible for the processing of contractor invoices & payments weekly under the supervision of the Accounting Manager and Payroll Manager


• Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the Accounts Payable inbox


• Responsible for the accurate and timely inputting of invoices & expense reports into Netsuite per the Accounts Payable inbox


• Responsible for ensuring that all invoices & expense reports follow the proper approval steps prior to payment


• Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities


• Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System


• Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel


• Other tasks as required

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Accounting Manager - Staffing

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• One to two years of accounts receivable and/or accounts payable experience


• Strong Microsoft Office Skills with emphasis on intermediate to advanced excel skills


• Prior experience with NetSuite an asset


• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as a part of a team


• Self-Starter, strong commitment to continued learning, and can effectively take direction


• Ability to meet deadlines

EDUCATION

• University or College Degree/Diploma preferred but not required

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000
