In this nursing role, as a Pediatric Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will have scheduled shifts to care for patients in a school setting. You will work with patients within pediatric ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable. This role is intended to support the September 2026 school year. Successful candidates are anticipated to begin orientation and training in July or August to ensure adequate onboarding and preparation prior to the start of the school year.

What you’ll do:
Using appropriate assessment tools/techniques to assess patients’ individualized needs
Executing and continuously monitor care plans
Engaging patients using a collaborative approach by building rapport and trust
Maintaining and update professional patient records related to patient encounters and plans
What you bring:
Registration with the CNO as a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
Experience in Pediatric care is mandatory
Experience in delivering community care is an asset
Clinical skills in gastric feed, tracheostomy, and ventilation care strongly preferred
Reliability and flexibility
Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area
Passion for making a difference in your community
Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs
