Personal Injury Law Clerk – Downtown Toronto

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded plaintiff-side personal injury firm in downtown Toronto, is looking to add an experienced Personal Injury Law Clerk to support a senior partner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated law clerk who enjoys managing sophisticated personal injury files and is looking to join a collaborative team with a strong reputation in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with the management of plaintiff-side personal injury files from intake through resolution

· Prepare and draft legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, mediation briefs, productions, and other litigation materials

· Manage both Tort and Accident Benefits (AB) files, including scheduling, document organization, and file progression

· Coordinate with clients, medical experts, insurers, opposing counsel, and other third parties

· Maintain deadlines, limitation periods, and court calendars

· Prepare files for discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and trial

· Provide ongoing administrative and legal support to a senior partner

Qualifications:

· Previous plaintiff-side personal injury law clerk experience is required

· Experience handling both Tort and Accident Benefits files

· Strong understanding of Ontario personal injury litigation procedures

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with PrimaFact and/or Filevine is considered an asset, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

· Competitive salary commensurate with experience

· Hybrid work arrangement with three days per week in the office following probation
