Petroleum Service Clerk

Location: Cardlock Houston, BC

Job Overview: Reporting to Petroleum Manager You’ll be involved in:

• Embodying Four Rivers Co-operative values: Responsibility, Integrity, Service, and Excellence
• Collaborating with team members to make guests feel "at home here"
• Promote Co-op brand values: Locally Invested, Community-Minded, and Lifetime Membership Benefits 
• Provide information, assistance, and exceptional customer service, listen to and elevate customer complaints as appropriate and provide answers to inquiries. 
• Stock shelves and general housekeeping duties to ensure a well-maintained storefront
• Reception duties include greeting customers and answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and polite manner

• Process and record payments for fuel, oil, and propane sales 

   

What You Bring:

• A proactive approach, with the ability to organize your work and operate independently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with confidence using computers and workplace software
• A collaborative, approachable style and strong relationship-building skills
• The ability to stay organized and effective when priorities shift in a busy environment
• A willingness to share responsibility for the overall office workload, improve administrative processes, and participate in relevant training
• Previous experience in an office environment or the petroleum industry is an asset
• The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds when required
• A reputation for integrity, accountability, and following through on commitments

• A solutions-focused mindset and an appreciation for the different experiences and perspectives people bring to a team
