Pharmacist in Scarborough

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Relief Pharmacist to provide coverage at our various pharmacy location in Scarborough. The ideal candidate is adaptable, a strong communicator, and can seamlessly integrate into different pharmacy teams to ensure uninterrupted patient care. Experience with Fillware pharmacy software is required for this role to ensure a smooth and efficient transition during shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all duties of a licensed pharmacist, including verifying prescriptions, conducting final checks, and providing patient counseling.
• Efficiently and accurately process prescriptions using Fillware pharmacy software.
• Provide professional clinical services such as medication reviews, injections, and minor ailment prescribing.
• Collaborate with pharmacy assistants, technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Offer exceptional customer service, addressing patient questions and concerns with empathy and expertise.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and company policies and standards.
• Manage workflow efficiently in a fast-paced environment, adapting to the specific procedures of each location.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist in Ontario.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Fillware pharmacy software is mandatory.
• Strong clinical knowledge and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and adapt to new environments quickly.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong professional ethic.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification is an asset.
