Pharmacy Assistant- Shipping (Entry level- Training Provided)

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant- Shipping (Entry level- Training Provided) to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. The Pharmacy Assistant will assist with the preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries, while supporting daily operations in accordance with the Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Your Day to Day:

• Shipping Department activities - primary activity 


• Reconciling shipping medications with shipping reports and delivery totes


• Packaging items to ship


• Coordinating with drivers and facilities 


• Managing inventory


• Organizing and coordinating deliveries to shipping


• Day-to-day maintenance of our pharmacy operations both independently and in cooperation with teammates

Physical Requirements: This position requires the selected candidate to sit, stand and walk throughout the day. 

Compensation Range: $19- $21/hour. Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate’s credentials and experience.

Location: This is on-site role at the Burnaby pharmacy located at 8525-8501 Commerce Crt, Burnaby, BC V5A4N3 and follows a five-day workweek with participation in on-call rotation for weekends.
