This position is at the salary level L04 level with an hourly pay range of $32.22 - $40.77
(PSAC Bargaining Unit)
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, the incumbent as part of the Pharmacy team will primarily support Pharmacy inventory management and medication distribution for YHC's external partners. The incumbent will also perform drug distribution activities for acute care such as filling, packaging, non-sterile compounding and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required: |
· Knowledge of inventory management processes; · Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; · Good communication and customer service skills, both oral and written; · Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office products; · Ability to operate related equipment; · Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team; · Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity. |
The successful applicant will be a grade 12 high school graduate or possess a GED, Graduation from a recognized Pharmacy Technician course and have one (1) to two (2) years related experience. Experience with Meditech is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
