We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Planning Coordinator in our Kingsville Corporate Office

The Planning Coordinator, under the direction of the Planning Manager, will primarily be responsible for overseeing and monitoring inventory and product positioning at all Red Sun Farms distribution centers.  This role works closely with the sales, procurement, operating and logistics teams to optimize inventory positions and operational efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities

• 
  

  Work closely with growers to obtain and manage accurate forecasting

  
  


• 
  

  Align sales demand and grower production to create and maintain accurate packing plans

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with the production and procurement teams to support sales department needs

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor and manage inventory at all distribution centers to ensure proper positioning, maximize distribution efficiencies and ensure order fulfillment

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare, distribute and present reports to internal customers

  
  


• 
  

  Provide updates to sales regarding aging inventory, building inventory and opportunity for sales.

  
  


• 
  

  Liase with the production team to support sales department needs.

  
  


• 
  

  Understand and comply with all Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety and Operations policy and procedures

  
  


• 
  

   Other duties as assigned  

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Degree or diploma in administration, business, or a related field

  
  


• 
  

   Minimum three years’ experience in produce industry preferred

  
  


• 
  

   Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  
  


• 
  

   Ability to work individually as well part of a team

  
  


• 
  

   Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

  
  


• 
  

   Adaptability to changing demands of production

  
  


• 
  

   Knowledge of FAMOUS software is preferred  

  
  

Working Conditions

• Work in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions


• Interactions with customers, employees, and management


• Sitting and standing for an extended amount of time may be required


• May be required to work overtime as needed


• May be required to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on deadlines

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers an annual salary range of $52,000.00 to $65,000.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, Red Sun Farms provides a comprehensive total rewards package, including health benefits, defined contribution pension plan, paid sick days, and other company-sponsored programs.
